Dear Waggoner Families,
I hope that you enjoyed the beautiful sunshine this weekend. It's not your usual January weather for sure! We definitely need rain, but it really was gorgeous out there. We look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow!
This week's blog has lots of information for you! We have quite a few informational meetings coming up for our school and district. This Thursday at 3:00 we are having our Waggoner site council meeting where we will review the 2020 Single Plan for Student Achievement and also the draft safety protocols for reopening in hybrid. You are also invited to attend the WJUSD school board meeting this Thursday evening at 6 PM. And next Tuesday we are excited to invite you to the first PTA board meeting of 2021! The Winters Combined PTA supports both Waggoner and Rominger and we invite all parents to join us that night to hear what's coming up! All of these meetings are virtual and the Zoom links are below.
Also, it's almost time for Kindergarten and TK registration for the 2021-22 school year! You can request a packet or information at the links below or by visiting the Waggoner website.
Also, as you may know, we have postponed our hybrid reopening and Yolo County still remains in the purple tier. At this point, we are watching the numbers and will continue to update you as we know more. We are very excited that our 18 brand new outdoor tables have been delivered and they are beautiful! These will provide additional outdoor learning spaces in the fresh air!

Espero que hayas disfrutado del hermoso sol este fin de semana. ¡Seguro que no es el clima habitual de enero! Definitivamente necesitamos lluvia, pero realmente estaba hermoso allí. ¡Esperamos darles la bienvenida a todos mañana!
¡El blog de esta semana tiene mucha información para ti! Tendremos bastantes reuniones informativas para nuestra escuela y distrito. Este jueves a las 3:00 vamos a tener nuestra reunión del consejo de sitio de Waggoner donde revisaremos el Plan Único de Rendimiento Estudiantil 2020 y también el borrador de los protocolos de seguridad para la reapertura en híbrido. También está invitado a asistir a la reunión de la junta escolar de WJUSD este jueves por la noche a las 6 PM. ¡Y el próximo martes nos complace invitarlo a la primera reunión de la junta de la PTA de 2021! El PTA de Winters Combined apoya tanto a Wagoner como a Rominger e invitamos a todos los padres a unirse a nosotros esa noche para escuchar lo que viene. Todas estas reuniones son virtuales y los enlaces de Zoom se encuentran a continuación.
Además, ¡es casi la hora de inscribirse en Kindergarten y TK para el año escolar 2021-22! Puede solicitar un paquete o información en los enlaces a continuación o visitando el sitio web de Waggoner.
Además, como sabrá, hemos pospuesto nuestra reapertura híbrida y el condado de Yolo aún permanece en el nivel púrpura. En este punto, estamos observando los números y continuaremos actualizándolos a medida que sepamos más. Estamos muy emocionados de que nuestras 18 nuevas mesas para exteriores hayan sido entregadas y ¡son hermosas! ¡Estos proporcionarán espacios de aprendizaje al aire libre adicionales al aire libre!
