The first day of school is tomorrow! We can't wait! We know it might seem scary. We hope everything goes smoothly, but also know that the tech might be challenging and that this is a whole new adventure for all of us! We have planned these first eight days to get everyone connected and supported. It will be okay! We are here to help.
As we have shared previously, the schedule for tomorrow will be a little different as we have planned a drive up supply pickup and welcome with staff in the morning. Here is what you need to know:
- Kindergarten and TK families pickup in the drive up in front of kindergarten from 8:30-9:30, and 1st and 2nd grade will be welcoming you from 9:00-10:00 in the staff parking lot. There is an overlap for those with students in both age groups. Please stay in your cars as you pick up supplies. You can make a sign with your child's name and teacher to wave as you go by!
- There will be a little photo booth on the fence of the staff lot for first day pics! It will be out there all day so come by when you have time and snap a photo. Be sure to social distance.
- In the afternoon we have planned Zoom class parties at 12:30 for every class in our school! We can’t wait to see you! You should have received a welcome email from your child's teacher with information about the first day. If you did not, please contact the office by email or phone so we can update your contact information. Your child's teacher can also reach out by phone to help you get connected if you are having trouble. We will get you connected!
- Accessing Zoom- Your child's teacher has shared information with the Zoom link in an email to you, or in Google Classroom. To access Google Classroom you should visit classroom.google.com and you will see a button that says JOIN on the button for your child's class. No code needed! Here is a picture of Mrs. Baylor's class I have already joined:

Esperamos que todo salga bien, pero también sabemos que la tecnología puede ser un desafío y que esta es una aventura completamente nueva para todos nosotros. Permanezca en sus automóviles mientras recoja los suministros. ¡Puede hacer un cartel con el nombre de su hijo y el maestro para saludar a medida que pasa!
